Our friends at Youth Speaks are offering a variety of exciting winter writing workshops to East Bay youth under age 21 at multiple sites. WritersCorps and the San Francisco Public Library are teaming up to offer a new workshop at Mission Branch Library. Do you like to read stories about young people dealing with life in the ghettos and barrios of urban America? Have you ever thought about writing your own urban fiction story? In this workshop we will learn from our favorite urban fiction stories and write our own.

WritersCorps is now at Ingleside Library! We’re co-sponsoroing at media writing workshops for teens starting this month! The monthly writing workshops will run from January to April 2010.
