Winter Writing Workshops at Youth Speaks

Our friends at Youth Speaks are offering a variety of exciting winter writing workshops to East Bay youth under age 21 at multiple sites. Urban Fiction Workshops at Mission Branch Library

WritersCorps and the San Francisco Public Library are teaming up to offer a new workshop at Mission Branch Library. Do you like to read stories about young people dealing with life in the ghettos and barrios of urban America? Have you ever thought about writing your own urban fiction story? In this workshop we will learn from our favorite urban fiction stories and write our own.

When: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, January through May, 6 -7 pm

New Media Workshops at Ingleside Library

Vampire Holiday Cards

Make your own Vampire Holiday Cards using collage materials and text from your favorite vampire novels! Muahahaha!! This workshop is offered four times at the Mission Branch Library and led by WritersCorps teaching artist Carrie Leilam Love.
