Octavio Solis Reading Recap; Teaching Artist Journal
April 1st, 2008 by AdminThanks to everyone who made it out to the Octavio Solis reading at Intersection. Were his ghost stories not amazing? His characters stay in the memory, and the setting of the Rio Grande is so rich. Octavio is originally from El Paso, TX and told me that he seems to always return there in his writing.
To see photos from that evening, click here. (You can also see them from our Past Events page.) They were taken by Katharine Gin, our artist-in-residence.
In unrelated news, our training coordinator, Judith Tannenbaum, has an essay about WritersCorps published in the most recent edition of Teaching Artist Journal. You can read her essay on our site here.
