Bay Area Writing Project
BAWP is a collaborative program of the University of California at Berkeley and Bay Area schools, dedicated to improving writing and the teaching of writing at all grade levels and in all disciplines.
The Poetry Center and American Poetry Archives
Based at San Francisco State University, the center presents readings by poets, novelists, and other writers. The archives include a collection of more than 2,000 original recordings of poets and writers reading from their work.
Poetry Flash
Publishes reviews, poems, interviews, essays, trade submissions, and award information for creative writers. Also carries a comprehensive listing of literary events in the West.
Teachers & Writers Collaborative
Brings writers and educators together in collaborations that explore the connections between writing and reading literature and that generate new ideas and materials. Publishes a bimonthly magazine and books.
