Melissa Hung, Project Associate, WritersCorps

Melissa Hung is a writer and journalist. A graduate of Northwestern University’s creative writing and journalism programs, Melissa’s work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals. She is the founding editor of Hyphen, a national Asian American culture magazine, and a frequent speaker on the topic of independent media. She also curates Slant, an annual film festival in Houston, Texas.
