SFAC Gallery Staff and Interns enjoying their work

Calling all event photographers! The SFAC Gallery is seeking an enthusiastic intern interested in documenting our exhibition openings, parties and public events. We have an exhibition opening on September 16^th called Shift featuring BAN6 artist David Huffman as well as Travis Somerville and Elizabeth Axtman. This will be a well attended and fun event. There will also be a public program/performance on September 22^nd, The Castro Street fair on October 2^nd, PhotoAlliance exhibition opening October 5th and our annual fundraiser Passport 2011 on October 23^rd. Future opportunities for more work will be available as well. This is a great opportunity to become more involved with the art community and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery!

• Photography experience especially photographing events
• Ability to adjust, upload and organize photos onto various sites
• Organizational skills and attention to details
• Outgoing and friendly personality

Potential tasks:
• Photograph upcoming public program events and Passport2011
• Approach people for photographing at events
• Edit, upload and organize photos to various photo albums

Commitment:
• Must be available some evenings and weekends (Schedule will vary according to events.)
• While this is an unpaid internship, we are happy to support school credit and photo credit to all pictures taken
