Among his other numerous awards are the McClatchy President's Award for his series "The Weight" and the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for International Photography for his piece documenting Hmong refugees. Crisostomo has taught at San Francisco State University, California State University Hayward, and the University of Gaum.
