Wait, what is Passport?
This unique event allows the public a hands-on art collecting experience by bringing local artists to neighborhood venues where the buyers can “create” a limited-edition artist’s book by collecting original, artist-designed stamps in a customized Moleskine “passport” notebook. Walking throughout the Divisadero corridor from noon to 4 p.m., hundreds of do-it-yourself art collectors will follow a designated route to collect stamps from hot local artists while discovering the small businesses that line the neighborhood.

Michael Arcega, John Bankston, Brian Barneclo, Claire Colette, Teraneh Hemami, Dana Hemenway, Sanaz Mazinani, Tahiti Pehrson, Ferris Plock, Favianna Rodriguez, Sarah Smith, Josephine Taylor, Nate Van Dyke, Martin Venezky and William T. Wiley.

I want to go! How do I get a Passport!
Step 1: Purchase your passport for $25 here. Or avoid the lines at will call and pick one up at the SFAC Main Offices at 25 Van Ness, Suite 345 (@ Oak), Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Step 2: Pick up your passport and event map at will call at Home Base (Parklet 1300 Fulton @ Divisadero) between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m on Sunday, October 13 come rain or shine.
Step 3: Follow the Passport map to fifteen amazing local business where artists will be waiting to stamp your passport with an original artwork. (Note: William T. Wiley’s stamp will be administered by volunteers.)
Our Home Base is located at the parklet at 1300 Fulton. Maps of the route will be available soon!
Step 4: Allow 2 - 3 hours to complete the route. Bring sunscreen and buy snacks from local vendors.
I don't want it to end! Where's the after party? Don't worry, Passport 2013 is here to take care of all of your after party needs. Join us from 4-7 pm at The Mill, co-sponsored by The Bold Italic for some beer, wine, coffee and good times. All ages are encouraged to attend! The Mill is located at 736 Divisadero St.

Don't worry, we'll stamp it for you. For $125, collectors can purchase a Concierge Passport; gallery staff will collect all the stamps and mail it to the purchaser’s home.
