Toast ODC/Dance's triumphant return from a State Department tour of Indonesia, Burma and Thailand at the Opening Night Gala Performance at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The company's South East Asia tour was deeply inspiring and the dancers are at the top of their game!
Be the first to see the world premiere of Artistic Director Brenda Way's Waving Not Drowning (A Guide to Elegance)-a wry consideration of fashion, manners and movement, with a score written by the inimitable award-winning vocalist Pamela Z who loops and layers a 1960s French etiquette text into a witty tuneful work. After the show, celebrate with the artists at the landmark St. Regis Hotel. Wine, bountiful hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served along with one of the City's most dramatic views.
