Duties: 
Working as part of a three member administrative support team, this position will focus on the M.F.A. and Young Conservatory Programs. Specific responsibilities include:

As point person for the M.F.A. program, the associate will assist students with issues such as housing, doctor referrals, and other non-academic matters, as well as work study placements and other employment opportunities, as well as assisting with the annual showcase for graduating students.
As point person for the Young Conservatory Program, the associate will process all YC registrations, coordinate class check-ins, and respond to and track information requests, in addition to serving as parent, faculty and student liaison for the program. The associate will also work with the Marketing Department on session mailings.
The associate will also function as the alumni contact with A.C.T., including acting as liaison with the alumni association board, assisting with all aspects of alumni weekend.
The associate will attend and prepare minutes for Conservatory meetings, including M.F.A. Faculty meetings, Young Conservatory Council meetings and meetings of the Conservatory Committee of the Board of Trustees.
For the Conservatory administrators, the associate will handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including triaging mail, drafting correspondence, tracking, and following up on correspondence as necessary.

Requirements: 
Position requirements include at least three years prior experience in an administrative position in an academic setting, working with students of varying ages, including youth. Excellent communication skills, organization, and the ability to efficiently and accurately prioritize and execute multiple tasks. Must be able to interact with a variety of supervisors and constituencies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. FileMaker Pro helpful. Good writing skills a must.
