SFPUC's CDD at 2000 Marin St.

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for an artwork at San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s (SFPUC) City Distribution Division (CDD) at 2000 Marin Street in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to create a monumental artwork integrated into the North and West façades of the parking garage on the CDD’s new campus.

49 South Van Ness Video Wall Public Art Project

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for the 49 South Van Ness Video Wall public art project.

PROJECT BUDGET
$10,000 per video commission, inclusive of artist fee, production costs, and file preparation.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility is open to Professional Practicing Artists with video art experience residing in the United States. Entries not meeting eligibility guidelines will be withdrawn from consideration.

Ocean Beach Climate Change Adaptation Project

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for a public art opportunity at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Proposals for this public art opportunity for the Ocean Beach Climate Change Adaptation Project may range from a focal large-scale sculpture to a grouping of smaller human-scale sculptures at the newly constructed Sloat Blvd. public plaza for the project.

49 South Van Ness Two-Dimensional Art

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists who work in two-dimensional media, such as painting, drawing and photography, to submit original creative works that are available for purchase for the 49 South Van Ness Two Dimensional Art program. These works will supplement the existing art collection at 49 South Van Ness.

Project Budget 
The purchase price of the individual unframed original artwork should not exceed $10,000, and be appropriate to the scale of the artwork, medium, as well as the market rate for the artist’s work.

The San Francisco Arts Commission is committed to open government. Any member of the public is welcome to attend our meetings and provide public comment.

Community Investments Committee meetings are held the third Tuesday on even-numbered months at 1 p.m., and generally last for about two hours. If the scheduled date falls on a holiday, the meeting will usually be rescheduled to the following or preceding week.
