Spotlighting six weeds growing in different locations along Market Street, these photographs celebrate the determination of nature to survive in a concrete environment. Often overlooked, and thriving in the seams of the urban landscape, weeds are the homeless plants of the city.

Capturing momentary glimpses of pedestrians on Market Street, these small figure drawings on a plain white background are based on photographs taken by the artist. These drawings of individuals and small groups of people are juxtaposed with reproductions of small sculptures of some of the figures. Numerous copies of the actual small plastic figures were placed near the poster kiosks along Market Street for pedestrians to take.

Still Here
With Sharon Siskin, Nancy LeMoins and Robert Corti
A collaborative project by artist Sharon Siskin working with Nancy LeMoins, a printmaker, and Robert Corti, a photographer and digital artist, both living and teaching art at the Derek Silva Community, a residential facility for persons living with AIDS/HIV, located on Market Street. Designed to resemble old hand- colored picture postcards, the posters include photographs of residents of the Derek Silva Community with descriptions of each of their daily lives.
