Public Art for the New Chinese Recreation Center

Come see the proposals for the new public artwork, which will be located on the exterior of the new Center, and give us your feedback!

WHERE: Chinese Historical Society of America Museum, 965 Clay Street
Muni access is by the #1 California, #30 Stockton and the Powell Street Cable Cars

HOURS: Tuesday through Friday, 12:00.- 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Three artists/artist teams—Colette Crutcher, Liang Liqing, and Margarita Soyfertis and Vadim Goretsky—were selected by the Chinese Recreation Center Artist Selection Panel to create public art proposals for the exterior of the new Center. Come see the public art concepts while they are on view at the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum and provide us with feedback in the comment book located onsite.
