Artist Workshop for Port Pier 92 Public Art Project

WHERE: EcoCenter at Heron’s Head Park, 32 Jennings Street (at Cargo Way), San Francisco
The Port of San Francisco has retained the Arts Commission to assist in commissioning a public artwork located at Pier 92, near the intersection of Illinois and Cargo Way, along San Francisco’s southern waterfront. The Port and the Arts Commission are hosting a workshop at the EcoCenter to provide information to interested artists about the opportunities at the site, the selection process, and the application process. Directions: Take 19 Muni bus and get off at Evans Ave. and Jennings St. Or take the 44 Muni bus and get off at Middle Point before Evans Ave. Continue downhill on Jennings St., past the old power plant for two blocks. You will arrive at Heron’s Head Park’s parking lot on your right.
Please note that the park is currently undergoing improvements, it may appear closed at the meeting but access will be provided to the Eco Center.
