San Francsico Relief Funds and Resources for the Arts

SAN FRANCISCO ARTS AND ARTISTS RELIEF FUND GRANT DEADLINES HAVE CLOSED. FOR A LIST OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE RECEIVED RELIEF FUNDS, CLICK HERE. 

On Monday, March 23, 2020, Mayor London N. Breed announced a relief fund to provide financial support for our arts community during the COVID-19 emergency. 

The San Francisco Arts Commission and Grants for the Arts collaborated to set up these two funding programs with trusted private partners, the Northern California Grantmakers’ Arts Loan Fund (ALF) and the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI).

The City is aware of the financial crisis the COVID-19 pandemic is causing for artists and arts organizations in our community. These funds will deploy much-needed resources as swiftly as possible out into the community. 

We have compiled a list of additional arts and culture resources, available here. Assistance is being deployed at the federal, state and local levels in both the public and private sectors. We encourage you to access all that is available to support you through the COVID-19 emergency. Please contact the service providers directly if you have questions.
