Join the San Francisco Arts Commission for the opening reception of Service Tension [2], a group exhibition featuring work by Salimatu Amabebe, Ricki Dwyer, Xandra Ibarra, Sasha Kelley, Tiona Nekkia McClodden, and Autumn Wallace. Curated by independent curators Elena Gross and Leila Weefur, the exhibition explores the messiness and complexity of the queer body. “Service Tension examines how abstraction becomes a vessel for queer desire—a way to hold what cannot be directly shown.” state the exhibition curators Elena Gross and Leila Weefur.

Service Tension is on view in the SFAC Main Gallery through August 23, 2025.
