MIssion & Values

The San Francisco Arts Commission is the City agency that champions the arts as essential to daily life by investing in a vibrant arts community, enlivening the urban environment and shaping innovative cultural policy.

Strategic Plan

In 2013, Arts Commission staff and Commissioners set out to articulate a new vision for the agency for the next five years.  Through this effort, we refreshed our mission statement, confirmed our values, and identified process improvements that will help us to better serve San Francisco.
