UpStar Records is a youth-run record label aimed at turning today’s hip hop enthusiasts into tomorrow’s digital technology leaders. This innovative workforce development program provides youth employment and leadership opportunities. Trained by a cadre of talented industry professionals, youth get hands-on experience recording, mixing, mastering, releasing, distributing and promoting their own music and videos.

Trash Mash-Up (TMU) is a community art project. Using disposable materials, collected before they enter the waste stream, participants construct 'Maskostumes' which are original pageant masks and costumes inspired by traditions from around the world. TMU reduces waste and inspires people to see each other and our environment in a new way.

Todd Berman is an artist who has been working in education ever since moving to San Francisco 16 years ago. In that time, he has become an expert at engaging teenagers in the creative process. Berman works with teachers to integrate visual arts practices into curricula to make lesson plans more engaging and meaningful for students to comply with Common Core Standards. He can help you can bring your entire community together to collaborate on one engaging and meaningful art project.

TILT teaches young people who are typically underrepresented and misrepresented in media the fundamentals of moviemaking and media literacy through hands-on training in video production. TILT provides youth with lifelong skills for accessing, evaluating, analyzing, and producing media to make positive change in themselves and their communities. TILT values diversity, collaboration, student-driven and project-based learning, professionalism, and creative and critical thinking.

We offer high-quality literacy arts education programs to students in kindergarten through the 8th grade in schools, after-school programs, and community-based organizations throughout San Francisco and the East Bay. While Streetside services are available to a wide array of schools and community organizations, we focus our resources on reaching underserved young people who attend struggling schools.

Stern Grove Festival Association is a nonprofit cultural organization committed to providing the people of the Bay Area with admission-free access to diverse performing arts. Every year since 1938, the organization presents Stern Grove Festival, an admission-free performing arts series, in Sigmund Stern Grove, a beautiful outdoor amphitheater located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.

StageWrite uses theatre to build literacy skills, community, and self-esteem with elementary school children. Through classroom residencies, StageWrite engages and inspires student learning. The program employs dramatic activities to involve young people in reading, writing, speaking, and listening as a holistic, meaningful communication process. Pogramming includes: creative drama, stories on stage, playwriting, and the ADAPTS residency for students with autism.

Southern Exposure (SoEx) is an artist-centered non-profit organization that is committed to supporting visual artists. Through our extensive and innovative programming, SoEx strives to experiment, collaborate, and further educate while providing an extraordinary resource center and forum for Bay Area and national artists and youth in our Mission District space and off-site, in the public realm.

The mission of SOMArts is to promote and nurture art on the community level, and to foster an appreciation of and respect for all cultures. Founded in 1979, SOMArts embraces the entire spectrum of arts practice and cultural identity, and it is beloved in San Francisco as a truly multicultural, community-built space where cutting-edge events and counterculture commingle with traditional art forms.

MYT provides youth ages 4-24 with high-quality theater arts experiences that integrate drama, dance, music, and stagecraft. Open to all young performers without audition or regard to financial limitations, MYT produces full-scale original musical productions each year for elementary, middle, and high school/college performance ensembles.
