Program Description

TILT teaches young people who are typically underrepresented and misrepresented in media the fundamentals of moviemaking and media literacy through hands-on training in video production. TILT provides youth with lifelong skills for accessing, evaluating, analyzing, and producing media to make positive change in themselves and their communities. Program Description

The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA) offers over 50 artistic classes for adults and children/youth. Classes include visual arts, dance, music, drama, literary arts, media arts, multidisciplinary arts, and special workshops. MCCLA also hosts the Multicultural Arts Summer (MAS) youth program during the summer for young people ages 7 to 13. The MCCLA has a gallery with year-round exhibitions, multicultural events, and is home to Mission Graficia, a studio for screen printing, etching, and relief printmaking.

Program Description

MoAD provides one-hour facilitated tours for both children and adults at all developmental and cognitive levels. The MoAD Youth Media Program (MYMP) is an interdisciplinary youth development and job readiness program offering a rich mentoring environment and hands-on experiences to youth in grades 10 through 12. The program helps students develop leadership and communication skills and learn multimedia production skills, which they use to produce museum and website content.
